Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

The Kiwanis Club of Belton is about Serving...

The Kiwanis Club of Belton is a diverse and lively group, made up of people who believe that children are our most important investment. We are dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Say yes to our invitation to join us at our weekly Tuesday morning meetings. You will find a warm welcome and come away with inspiration to get involved.

Children are Our Priority...

Belton Kiwanians eagerly serve children, both locally and internationally.

Serving Children
We are volunteers who care deeply about all children. We serve by providing new clothes and school supplies. We donate food and clothing, and necessaries for newborns. We make blankets and mittens, and put gifts under the tree for those who otherwise go without. We read to children in schools and libraries.

Serving Locally
We encourage children to Bring Up Grades, become leaders, and be good citizens. We give craft supplies, summer safety kits, and educational programs.  We raise funds for our partners and projects. We celebrate the annual Turtle Festival,  showcasing our partnering organizations during a fun filled day for families.

Serving Internationally
In 2009 we partnered with the Kiwanis International Foundation to equip an orphanage school in India with science lab equipment, and provided  curriculum and on site training to the school's teachers.

Currently, the Kiwanis Club of Belton, Texas supports the efforts of housing and educating children at the Shillong Children's Center in northeast India, a safe and happy place for refugee and street children displaced by war and often without any hope for the future.
